Welcome to Journey Pants Studio Limited ("Journey Pants Studio", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (https://journeypants.com), our Journey Pants platform accounts, and our video games and mobile applications, including Hegrim (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Account Creation: Certain features of our games allow or require you to create a Journey Pants account using an email address and password, a third-party sign-in provider (such as Google), or a Guest account.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Account Deletion: You may delete your Journey Pants account and associated game data at any time from within our games or via our Delete Account page.

2. License to Use Our Services

  • Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, access, and use our Services for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
  • All intellectual property rights in the Services—including artwork, characters, stories, music, code, and trademarks—are owned by Journey Pants Studio Limited.

3. Virtual Items & In-App Purchases

  • Virtual Goods: Our games may offer virtual currencies (such as Gems), items, or content ("Virtual Items") via paid apps or in-app purchases processed through third-party platforms such as Google Play.
  • No Monetary Value: Virtual Items are licensed to you for use only within the applicable game, have no real-world monetary value, and cannot be redeemed or transferred for cash.
  • Refunds: All purchases are processed by the platform store (e.g., Google Play) from which you downloaded the game and are subject to that platform's refund policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Acceptable Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify or interfere with our Services.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other players in shared or multiplayer features (such as guilds or mail).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, accounts, or backend infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • Our Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Journey Pants Studio Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including New Zealand consumer law).
