Journey Pants Studio Limited ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website (https://journeypants.com), our Journey Pants platform accounts, and our games and mobile applications, including Hegrim.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account & Authentication Data: When you create or sign in to a Journey Pants account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials, or—if you choose Sign in with Google—your basic Google account identifier and email address provided via Google OAuth. We use this information solely to authenticate you, secure your account, and link your game progress across devices.
  • Game Progress & Profile Data: We store your in-game handle, game saves, progression, virtual currency balances (such as Gems), and social features (such as friends, mail, and guild memberships) on our game servers so you can play and restore your progress.
  • Purchase Records: When you make an in-app purchase (e.g., via Google Play), we receive transaction confirmation identifiers and item details to credit your account and maintain required accounting records. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
  • Analytics & Security Data: We may collect non-personally identifiable behavioral metrics (such as level progression or session length) using privacy-compliant tools like Amplitude to improve gameplay and fix bugs, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms and sign-in endpoints from automated abuse.
  • Contact Submissions: When you contact us through our Contact form or by email, we collect your name, email address, and message content in order to respond to your inquiry.

2. How We Use & Share Information

  • No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
  • Use of Google User Data: Information received from Google APIs (such as your email address and basic profile identifier when using Google Sign-In) is used strictly to authenticate your Journey Pants account and is never used for advertising or shared with unauthorized third parties.
  • Service Providers: Our games and website rely on trusted infrastructure providers to operate—specifically Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Cloudflare (security and anti-spam verification), Resend (transactional/support email delivery), and Amplitude (gameplay analytics). These providers process data only on our behalf under strict security and privacy standards.

3. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Journey Pants account and associated personal data at any time either directly inside our games (Account → Delete Account) or on the web at https://journeypants.com/account/delete:

  • Deleted immediately: Your game profiles, saves and progress, Gems, mail, friends, guild memberships, and in-game names are removed from our game servers right away.
  • Deleted after 14 days: Your platform sign-in account (email address, password hash, and linked Google account identifier) is permanently deleted after a 14-day grace period.
  • Retained without your identity: Records of in-app purchases and currency transactions that we are legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes are kept in an anonymized form that no longer identifies or links to you.
